The Spoke ‘n’ Boot “glamping” site – offering camping pods close to the Falkirk Wheel – commissioned The PR Store to deliver a new website, using some of the client’s photography and pictures from our own photo library. Adrian Mahoney from The PR Store developed new content – including news stories, useful links and an interactive map – and built the site using the WordPress content management system. We also linked to the client’s online booking system (hosted by a third party).
Sandra Morrison from Spoke ‘n’ Boot said: “We are delighted. Our new website is now more succinct, informative, attractive and SEO friendly. Adrian (from The PR Store) sorted out IT issues which we are extremely grateful for. He consulted with us regularly throughtout and worked extremely hard for a very fair price. Adrian is reliable, trustworthy and dependable with great knowledge and expertise.” Visit the Spoke ‘n’ Boot website.
The year 2019 marked the 200th anniversary of the death of Scottish inventor James Watt and the 250th anniversary of his patent to improve the steam engine. Heritage and engineering partners across Scotland – including Historic Environment Scotland – joined forces to celebrate Watt’s legacy.

The PR Store was instrumental in founding The Big Roman Week festival with The Friends of Kinneil charity. As part of our pro-bono support, we developed marketing leaflets and an event microsite. An archive is still online here.
In 2018, Falkirk Community Trust took on the ongoing development of the festival, which aims to raise the profile of the Antonine Wall and the early history of central Scotland.
As part of its work with the award-winning Friends of Kinneil heritage charity, The PR Store developed leaflets promoting volunteering and free open days.
The leaflets were backed up by online promotion and stories placed in the local and heritage press.
In 2019, we worked with the Eden design consultancy to refresh a tourism leaflet promoting the historic town of Bo’ness. We secured front page coverage of our work in the local press. See our story on this website.
We regularly help tourism clients get coverage in the press. Read some of our tourism stories in our main news section.
