Volunteer Elizabeth Cunningham is getting set to pour out refreshments at the Bo’ness Volunteer Fair this week.
Residents can pop in any time between 3-7 p.m. to meet a variety of local groups and find out about volunteering opportunities. There will also be information on funding for community projects.

Elizabeth (pictured above right, with fellow volunteer Madelene Hunt), will be helping to run a cafe and networking area, dishing out free snacks and drinks. The area has been sponsored by the Tesco’s store in Bo’ness.
A spokesperson for organisers Bo’net (the Bo’ness Networking Group) said: “We hope lots of local people will pop in to visit the various community groups taking stalls at the Volunteer Fair. It’s a good opportunity to find out what different groups are doing and how you can help.
“We’re also delighted that volunteers like Elizabeth will be on hand to provide drinks and snacks to visitors. A big thank you to Tesco – and our main funders, the Earls Gate Community Fund – for helping to make the Volunteer Fair possible.”
